Fake warnings, misinformation and rumors about coronavirus / COVID-19 have been noticed through various social media. Such rumors, false and fabricated information spread panic in the minds of the people and tarnish the image of the country.

As conscious citizens, we should gather accurate information from reliable and trustworthy sources with the motto of "Before verifying the truth, after sharing it on the Internet", and it is our moral duty as citizens to prevent such rumors. 

To make people aware of coronavirus / COVID-19, the Department of Health, Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), World Health Organization (WHO) has given some advice that we should follow.

The Department of Health has given five types of advice to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus worldwide.

·        <> Cover face while sneezing or coughing

·        It spreads when touched by an infected person

·        Spreads through animals, birds or cattle

Corona is a contagious virus. The virus is transmitted from animals to birds. Hundreds of countries around the world are currently infected with the coronavirus (Mars and SARS). If a person has traveled to these countries and has a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit within 14 days of returning, a sore throat, cough and shortness of breath, he may be at risk of contracting the coronavirus. He has been asked to contact the government health center on an emergency basis.

3. Emails from unsolicited or suspicious addresses or, if in doubt, clicking on the links inside them or opening the document should be avoided in order to protect against this cyber phishing attack. Use well-known and tested anti-virus on your computer system and always keep anti-virus updated. Strong and strong passwords should be used, multi factor authentication should be enabled in all cases where multi factor authentication can be enabled. Unwanted or suspicious Smartphone apps should not be downloaded or used.
